He gives us grace and glory
Psalm 84:11
God is our light and our Protector. He gives us grace and glory. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk along His paths (walk uprightly).
- God is the source of light, happiness and joy our souls long for.
- His grace and favour is available to each one of us.
- He has good things in store for you.
- He will not withhold these good things as you endeavor to follow Him.
PRAYER: Lord, today, on this Monday morning, I stretch out my hands to receive everything You have for me. Fill my life with the good things that You have pre-prepared for me and help me to follow You in all I say and do. Amen.

You are my friends.
John 15:13-14
Greater love has no one than this; that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends.
- God's love for us is so great that He paid the ultimate price.
- Because of God's love for us, He died for us.
- This action was a true sign of love and friendship.
- God loves you and desires that you would know Him as your friend.
PRAYER: Lord, You are so good. Thank You for dying and going to the cross so that I could be forgiven and know You better. Amen.

- No matter what we are facing, we should rejoice in God.
- The choice to rejoice is ours.
- We have reason to rejoice.

- God has not given us a spirit of fear.

We do not wrestle against flesh and blood
Ephesians 6:12
We do not wrestle (fight or struggle) against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers and against the rulers of the darkness of this age.
- We do not fight against ordinary human enemies.
- Other people are not our enemies.
- We have a subtle enemy who seeks to destroy.
- Our real battle is against this enemy.
PRAYER: Lord, I realise today where my real battle lies. Help me to recognise the real issues and give me victory I pray. Amen.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

- HE is willing to do all that is necessary.
- HE even laid down His life for you and for me.
- HE is your Good Shepherd and He cares for you.

2 Corinthians 5:1
We know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God Himself and not by human hands.
- God is busy preparing a wonderful future for you.
- Right now we enjoy a temporary earthly experience.
- But one day we will enjoy an eternal life with God.
- We have so much to look forward to!
PRAYER: Lord, come into my heart, be my Lord, my Saviour and My God. I look forward, with anticipation, to my eternal future with You. Amen.
