'I hurried and did not procrastinate

:        Psalm 119:60

'I hurried and did not procrastinate to keep Your commands.'

- As human beings we love to put things off or delay things.
What can IO do today that can't wait for tomorrow?

- Sometimes we have a 'tomorrow is another day' mentality.
Will tomorrow happen?
Maybe it wont for you and me who knows if tomorrow will come?

- But when it comes to God we should not procrastinate.
So Tomorrow happened and now is the day to do as
planned irrespective of the circumstances.

- We should, instead, be determined to follow God NOW.
so now is the time to be saved and to meet with God
 don't delay it might not happen tomorrow.
so do it today make the commitment and take the step in faith.


PRAYER: 
Lord, it is my heart's desire to follow You without delay.
Forgive me for procrastinating and I declare that from
this day forward my heart, soul, mind and strength is
set on following You.
Amen.

'When the storms of life come

:        Proverbs 10:25

'When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation.'

- We do face storms during the course of life.

- But we have a firm and lasting foundation to hold on to.

- God's desire for us is that we would come out of the storm standing.

- You have a foundation on which to stand during the storms of life.


PRAYER: 
Lord, today, in the midst of all that I am facing,
I recognise that You are the firm and
solid rock on which I stand secure.
Amen.

the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong

Psalm 92:12

'But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.'

- The palm tree is one of the most beautiful trees.

- It is associated with life and is usually depicted at an oasis.

- God's desire is that you would flourish like a great palm tree.

- May He cause you to grow and may you grow in strength.


PRAYER:
Lord, cause my life to flourish and grow in strength
as I follow You and apply Your principles to my life.
Amen.

may Your eyes be open

'Now, my God, may Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.'

- The Lord is ready and willing to hear your prayers.

- What is it that you long for and desire today?

- Take those issues and make them a matter of prayer.

- May the Father look upon you and may He bless you in all things.


PRAYER: Lord, as I start this new week,
I take a moment to bring my requests and petitions to You.
 I make these things a matter of prayer as
I trust You to move on my behalf.
Amen.

You hold my right hand

Psalm 73:23-24

'Yet I still belong to You; You hold my right hand. You guide me with Your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.'

- God has got great things in store for you (a glorious destiny).

- You are His and He loves and cares for you.

- He will show you which way to go.

- He will not let go of your hand.


PRAYER: Lord, what a joy it is to know that I belong to You and that You care for and guide me. Thank You for the wonderful things You have prepared for me. Amen.
