Do I hear God quickly or slowly

Heb 5:11  Of whom we have much to say which it is hard to make clear,
because you are
slow of hearing. 

What is it about hearing.

Why am I so slow to hear what it is that GOD is saying to me.

Is it prep has I don't listen to Him?

Or maybe I am not sure that it is GOD who is speaking?

I could ask then do I really know the voice of our Saviour?

If I don't then then have I been building a relationship with JESUS?

A relationship is not a one way street.

All relationships take hard work to keep them active.

I must find more time to speak to GOD and time to really listen.

Yes really just shut up and listen for a change so that I can start to hear GOD speak.

Yes GOD does speak we just need to listen.

Awhile ago I found my self in a shop in town.

An old friend I had not seen for some time bumped into me and said hello.

I heard GOD telling me to "Stop and listen to what this friend had to say".

I was in a bit of a hurry as my wife was getting her hair done in the shop next door,

and I did not want her to have to wait for me.

Again I heard GOD say " Speak to your friend and share Christ's Love with him".

I was a bit worried about the sharing Christ part. Speaking was okay but to share Christ's Love!

Well I spoke to the friend we went outside and into the parking lot.

My friend shared that he had lost his job and was really feeling down and out that day.

My friend just broke down as he pored out all his concerns.

I ask him if I could pray for him and he said that would be great.

After we had prayed my friend said that he had recommitted himself there to JESUS,

and that he would start to attend church as from the next Sunday.

I hugged my friend and told him the GOD loved him and I was really blown away.

Yes I heard from GOD a small voice clear telling me what to do.

I did and He did the rest he saved my friend.

Wow listening ain't that bad it isn't so hard to listen.

I need to shut up more and listen to GOD talk.

I am trying to listen harder and better each and every day to GOD.

I challenge you to listen for 5 mins a day just shut the noise out and dont talk only listen to

GOD

let Him speak for a change.

Put your trust in the LORD He helps the down and out

Yes the down and the out of pocket.
Only God will help.
He is the provider in time of need.
He provides the needs to live a daily life.
Roof over your head and food on the table.
Provision it comes right from the Father.
Awesome when there is no one else to turn to you can turn to God.
He wont leave us in the lurch.
He will stand by us in the time of trouble and help us to overcome it.
His word promises us this.

Heb 10:23  Let us hold on firmly to the hope we profess,
because we can trust God to keep his promise.

Jer 17:7  "But I will bless the person who puts his trust in me.

Thank you LORD for the many blessing which you give to us daily.

Sometimes I feel like giving up

I'm sure we all have our days when we feel like things are just to much.
I do sometimes I think that I have had just so much I can't take any more.
Ever felt that way?
Have you ever felt like the world is closing in on you and just wanna say good bye to it all.
Yes some times life does get to much to handle.
Retrenchment,
Loss of friends.
Watching people die, and not been able to help.
Praying for the sick and never seeing them healed.
Loving people but not getting love in return.
It's so hard to be good loving and caring person in a cruel world.
But Jesus was able to cope with it so that gives me strength.
Yes strength to endure the pains and the sufferings.
Jesus endured all the pain for all of us, He took that suffering to the cross and dealt with it.
Thank you Jesus you give hope when I have none.
Yes Jesus you give me life when mine shuts down.
thank you Lord.

When will we listen to the churches

Rev 3:22
listen
to what the Spirit says to the churches!"
Church is not important what they say is only for an hour on sunday so it seems.
That as fas as it seems to go today when the churches say about GOD.
Surley we need to listen to the churches and what the Spirit of GOD is telling them.
The question we need to be asking is when last did we really listen tpo what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
So who at the church will give us the message from the Spirit.
Well it may be the Pastor, it may be the worship songs, it may be the word which is read.
Yes it may be a friend.
Yes we need to have ears and listen thats so hard.
Listen is what we need to do, listen to what the Spirit is saying....
What is the Spirit of GOD telling you and your church?
Mine told me to do pray walking and we did.
We got some new people to come to the church awesome outreach.
Are you doing outreach (praywalking the streets of town for GOD)
Yes we did just that for a while and now we are still walking for GOD on a regular basis.
Prephas the Spirit is talking to you to do something for GOD.
Something that will bring others to know the Lord JESUS.

Deu 7:12

Yes it time to open our ears and listen to GOD and not to man.

Only GOD knows when His SON will return.

How silly of some people to think He will let them know the time and day when the world will end.

We need to be prepared and listen all the time.

GOD talks but there are things that He will not tell us, those are His secrets alone.

Mar 13:32 "No one knows, however, when that day or hour will come---neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son; only the Father knows. Mar 13:33 Be on watch, be alert, for you do not know when the time will come. Be ready at all times for we do not know when JESUS will return.
Yes JESUS will return.
When we cannot say and should never try to predict.
Rather we should ensure that we are prepared and ready and have accepted JESUS as our LORD and Saviour.

Learning to Listen

Learning to Listen to GOD
Im sure most of us dont know what ears are for.
I remember my mother trying desperately to teach me how to us my ears at a young age.
Yes ears are not just for show but to listen.
Yes as I have gone through life I have discovered that I can hear different things when I listen properly.
I believe today that I can also hear the voice of GOD as I listen.
To listen to GOD I need to be in the right state of mind.
To hear GOD's voice I need to listen with so much care that I need to focus on Him alone.
Yes I have found in the quite in the early hours of the day GOD will often speak in a soft voice to me.
I'm sure He has spoken to you also, the concern is did you reconise His voice.
I cut out all the business and noise and focus only on GOD so that I can let Him speak.
I have had to learn to speak less and listen more.
God says somthing new each time I listen.

Job 33:33 But if not, be quiet and listen to me, and I will teach you how to be wise.

GOD tells us to step out of the business and noise of this world be quite in His presence and just listen.

Sometimes we need to just shut up and listen we speak far to much.

LORD help me to listen to you more each day, may I be a better listener and learn to speak less.

Getting on with Life after a loss

Yes it has been a couple of years since my borther in law passed away from cancer.
Before David died he had a couple of last requests.

One was to ride in a Bright Red Ferrai.
This was made possible one day David called me while he was driving the car.
Yes the pastor had arranged that the car would collect form hospice and he could go for a drive in it.
Awesome sometimes even our hearts desires God can fulfill.
He is an awesome God
Yes one of the other requests was that I was to read to him from the Bible every evening when I visited.
I read to David every evening while he lay bed in hospice in Benoni.
This was not an easy thing to do as David was dying but I did it.
I listened to David and to GOD's voice telling me to read the Word.
Yes I knew the end would happen one day and it did.
Late one evening we go a phone call from the hospice.
The sister on duty said that David would not make it to the next day.
I have never driven so fast from Boksburg to Benoni but I did.
But it was to late Daivid had died, David had gone to be with his maker.(David was a Believer)
We were meet by the pastor (Red Ferriar) he request that we attend church on sunday.
It was in church on the very next sunday that I heard GOD calling me.
I recommited my self to CHRIST on that sunday.
David got another wish to be fulfilled by GOD.
I recieved JESUS as my LORD that sunday.
Awesome how GOD got me to listen to HIM.
Sometimes it just take a while but listen to GOD
We must learn again how to LISTEN to GOD.
We speak to much....

Listen to God

When last did you stop to listen.

Are you scared of what God might say to you.

God does speak to us.

I will never leave you says the Lord.

Sometimes it seems as if GOD has left us when things go wrong.

When people pass away, when sickness happens, when troubles come to us.

That when we need to stand firm in our faith and always believe the GOD

Will never ever abandon us.

It might seem like He is missing the moment but He is not.

So we need to be positive and stay on the right path.

Thank you Lord for this promise never to leave our side. AMENJoshua, no one will be able to defeat you as long as you live. I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will always be with you; I will never abandon you.

So many people can be miss leading on this earth.
May we take time to bring our decisions to You Lord.

Busy as a bee

When will life slow down?
I surpose never.
Not even time to post something today.
Well GOD loves you thats all I can say so keep on smiling it will some how slow down the fast lane.
Living life in the fast lane is not a good way to live a life.
Will try to slow it down tomorrow and post the usual thoughts.
