The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn

Proverbs 4:18 (NIV)
The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn,  shining ever brighter till the full light of day.

V  How do you seek righteousness?

V  Righteousness is simply being in right standing with God.

PRAYER

Father God, I know that You have a wonderful plan and purpose for me. I desire to be in right standing with You. Show me Your ways and teach me to walk righteously before You. Shine Your light in my heart and give me strength to pursue the path You have in store for me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

O Lord, You are so good

 Psalm 86:5
O Lord, You are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for ALL who ask for Your help.
- God is good, ready to forgive and full of love.
- He is the source of every good and perfect gift.
- You and I can call upon Him for help in every situation.
- He wants to make His goodness a reality in your life.

PRAYER: Lord, You are good and You are always ready to forgive me, and You surround me with Your unfailing love. I celebrate Your goodness towards me. Amen.

once again I will see His goodness to me

 Psalm 27:13

I am expecting the Lord to rescue me again, so that once again I will see His goodness to me here in the land of the living.

- Be expectant that God will come through for you.

- God wants to show you His goodness.

- He wants to be good to you during your life (in the land of the living).

- He wants to rescue you again and again.

PRAYER: Lord, You are my hope! Thank You for Your goodness and kindness to me. Amen.

Rejoice in the Lord always

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always [delight yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!
- The choice to rejoice is the best decision you could make. 

- Rejoicing underpins our trust in God.

- The alternative is to doubt and moan.

- You can always find something to rejoice about.


PRAYER: Lord, I choose to rejoice and to focus on Your goodness as opposed to any obstacles and difficulties I may be facing! Amen.

I am expecting the Lord to rescue me again,

I am expecting the Lord to rescue me again, so that once again I will see His goodness to me here in the land of the living.

- Be expectant that God will come through for you.

At all times men ought to pray

Luke 18:1
At all times men ought to pray and not to lose heart!
We must continue believing and we must continue praying.
This scripture tells us two things:
1. At ALL times we should pray.
2. We should not become discouraged or lose heart.
Delay is not denial!

PRAYER: Lord, today I bring my request and needs to You again. I know that You care for me and You will undertake and provide. Amen.

For God loved the world

John 3:16
For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son.- God loves each of us.

- Because of this love He gave His Son.

- If we have love in our hearts, our natural response is to want to give.

- Reach out to someone today and let them know you love them.

PRAYER: Lord, may I be an instrument in Your hand today. Use me to touch the lives of others with Your love. Amen.

We rejoiced because of what He did there.

Psalm 66:6
He turned the sea into dry land. They went through the flood on foot. We rejoiced because of what He did there.
- God can turn impossibility into a possibility.

- Even though they went 'through the flood' God had made a way.

- God had turned a hopeless situation into a time of rejoicing.

- He can do the same for you and you will rejoice again!


PRAYER: Lord, You are my King, even over the floods of life that I may face. Help me to see the way of escape that You have provided, and let me soar with You above the storm. Amen.


GOD's Way is always the BEST WAY...

He weighs carefully everything you do!

Proverbs 5:21 (Living Bible)
For God is closely watching you, and He weighs carefully everything you do!
- God is not ignorant to the things you are facing.

- In fact, God is interested and aware of each step you take.

- He desires the best for you, because His plans are for your good.

- So let us walk carefully, knowing that our Heavenly Father is watching.


PRAYER: Lord, I want to walk in Your ways. Help me to make the right choices and may my life bring honour and praise to You. Amen.

Yes, be bold and strong!

Joshua 1:9
Yes, be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- God wants you to be bold, strong and courageous.
- Fear and doubt are things that make us weak.
- We must remind ourselves of the truth.
- The truth is that God is with you wherever you go!

PRAYER: Lord, it is my desire to be bold and courageous. I will not become fearful or entertain doubt, for You are with me. Amen.

Your hand will guide me.

Psalm 139:9-10
If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me; Your right hand will hold me fast.
- NOTHING can separate you from God's love.

- No circumstance or situation can remove God's hand from your life.

- The power of His hand can hold you through the storms of life.

- May you, experience the comfort and support of His hand today.

Let us run with patience (perseverance)

Hebrews 12:1
Let us run with patience (perseverance) the particular race that God has set before us.
- God has a race for each of us to run.
So let us run it well.

- It is a race that is unique to each of us.
We each have our own race and it is just for us to run, we must stop trying to get others to run it for us. We need to run it our selves or we will never reach the finish line.

- We must run with perseverance.
endurance lots of runners know about this been tired but still not stopping is the way to run. we must run and not stop, run the race for Christ.

- The wonderful thing is that God is with us!
God is our second on the race, He carries us when we cannot run, He brings us restoration when we need it, so we can run more, He lighten the load so that we are able to run easier.

PRAYER: Lord, help me as I run the race that You have set before me. Help me to endure and persevere so that I will be able to finish strong! Amen.


BE the RUNNER of the RACE for LIFE with JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD...

For I know the One in whom I trust

 2 Timothy 1:12
For I know the One in whom I trust, and I am sure (convinced) that He is able to guard and keep what I have entrusted to Him.
- We carry so many things that we were not designed to carry.
Time to empty tha Jam Jar of Life and take the burdens to Jesus.

- There are some things we can do nothing about.
Lets stop blaming ourselves for these things lets rather give them to Jesus.

- Let us do the possible and let's leave the impossible to God.
God will change the world and us but He will always be the same.

- God will intervene and take care of what has been entrusted to Him.
Trust God always. Trust God where there is nothing else. He is the only sure thing in this world.
TRUST GOD AND GOD ALONE.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that I can bring my concerns and fears to You. You know the things I am concerned about and I give them to You, trusting You in all things. Amen.

He who covers (hides) his sins will not prosper.

Proverbs 28:13
He who covers (hides) his sins will not prosper: but whosoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
- We must never pretend to be what we are not.
If you are not a Christian then don't call your self one.
Be what you say you are. this is harder than you can believe.
But you can do it. Be what God has called you to be...

- When we try to hide the wrong we have done, we do not prosper.
Time to empty the jar of sins in your life.
Unload the burdens which you are caring and let them go.
Say Good bye it is hard but it is time to change.

- But when we bring things into the light, everything changes.
There is a season for everything and every thing has its own season.
Maybe the season for that sin in your life has come to an end and now is the time to say goodbye and turn over the new leaf. give it to God that thing which He has been asking you to do and see how your life changes. God likes to change our lives for the better.

- It is then that God can step into our situation and flood it with His mercy.
God accepts and loves us no matter what we have done He will accept us to His side with the saving grace of Jesus we can receive the mercy of God and the season can change. Better times are yet to come. If only we let go and let God....


PRAYER: Lord, forgive me for the things that I have done that have not pleased You. Flood my life with Your mercy, I pray. Amen.

so that my feet do not slip!

Psalm 18:36
You make a wide path for me to walk on so that my feet do not slip!
- God does not want to see anyone slip and fall.

- He wants to remove the obstacles that hinder your progress.

- He wants you to be able to move forward without obstructions.

- Then you will be able to walk with confidence.


PRAYER: Lord, sometimes my progress seems restricted and contained. Open up the way for me so that I can move forward into all You have prepared for me. Amen.

The Lord blesses His people with peace.

Psalm 29:11
The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.
- Here are two blessings that God wants to give you.

- The blessing of strength and the blessing of peace.

- God gives strength to those who feel weak.

- Peace is a blessing of great value!


PRAYER: Lord, I receive Your gifts of strength and peace today. I ask You to strengthen me and give me peace. Amen.

My God will liberally supply ALL your needs

Philippians 4:19
My God will liberally supply ALL your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ.
- God is in the business of supplying needs.
Often we think that we are the suppliers of our daily needs well I've got news for you today God is the ultimate supplier of all our needs...

- God knows what you need.
Often I wonder about this statement does God really know my needs, well why does he choose not to honour them all? I like to think that He honours those needs that He know I will not abuse and miss use when they are given to us.

- Because of this you can live with expectation!
We can be expectant of a God that not only wants to provide for us, but rather a God who will and who can supply each and every one of our needs. so why not be expectant of change to happen in your life today ask God for your needs write them down that is the requests and see what God does, I'm sure he will come through for you.
Father I ask for assistance with Finances to look after my families needs each and every day.

- Don't limit a God who knows no limits.
God has no Limits He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, He has no limits, He can provide always for the Faithful ones whom He loves.

PRAYER: Lord, You know my needs and I declare that I trust You to supply those needs! thank you Lord for your generous supply in advance for all the needs of my life. Amen.

no one will snatch them out of My hand.

John 10:27-28
My sheep will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
- You are secure when your life is in God's hands.
- Your Shepherd will take care of you.
- Nothing can snatch or pluck you out of God's hands.
- You are safely in His care.

PRAYER: Lord, I rest secure in the knowledge and the hope that I am in Your hands. Amen.

Trust in the Lord forever

 Isaiah 26:4
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.
- Never stop trusting and having confidence in God.
It is easy to give up they say, so why do we just give up when times get tough.
It is in tough times that we see those who trust in god stand tall, stand strong, try to do that today Trust in God...

- Don't allow any situation, adversity or trial to undermine your trust.
I often say I can't but that word is not in the bible. We should only speak the Words of God.
We must not let words like can't confuse our trust in Him the Almighty one.


- Trust Him, always and forever.
Easier said than done but we need to start some where in our lives.
So I challenge you as you read today trust God and see Him change your life.

- For God is your eternal rock and your everlasting strength.
On the rock God built His church, you are to be part of that strong rock, having a firm foundation of trust in God is what we need.


PRAYER: Lord, You are the firm and unchangeable rock in whom I can depend no matter what I may be facing. Help me today to trust you more and more each day. Amen.
